Andrew, RN is our latest Daisy Awardee! Andrew works in our Emergency Department, and he was nominated for and awarded the Daisy Award because of his compassion and attentiveness in his work for his patients and their families. His Nomination reads:

“Andrew was a doll. He was attentive and never made us feel guilty for wanting to stay with our loved one in the room after he passed – and the ED was very busy. Andrew is definitely in the correct line of work. He even took “a million phone calls” from family and was patient and answered our questions each time.

When we had to go to Davenports to finalize services it was much more comfortable and felt like home because of Andrew and how well he treated all of us during a very difficult time.”

The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary compassionate and skillful care given by nurses every day. The Daisy banner will hang in the Emergency Department for the remainder of this quarter. Thank you, Andrew, for the hard work you do every day and the compassion and care you provide for your patients. Congratulations.
