Sky Lakes Infusion Clinic is where patients receive infused medications or blood transfusions through an intravenous (IV) catheter. They are nestled behind the Sky Lakes Outpatient Pharmacy.
The staff includes nine nurses with a wide variety of backgrounds including: Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Obstetrics, the Wellness Center, Emergency Department and Sky Lakes Outpatient Care Management. This diversity creates a well-rounded, experienced nursing staff that is able to care for patients from infancy through palliative care.
This clinic has patients that travel from nearby outlying areas as well as those living several hours away. The care team members are known for their professionalism but most of all, their amazing care and connection to their patients.
You and your provider will discuss the best option for your needs and will know if you need infusion therapy. Your provider’s office will make the arrangements for you, along with a schedule that is convenient for you.
Our infusion therapy nurses are also skilled at starting IVs for infants and children.
