Infusion services

Infusion therapy is a Sky Lakes department where patients receive "infused" medications or blood transfusions through an intravenous (IV) catheter.

Skilled infusion department staff work closely with your schedule and provide your care at your convenience.

You and your provider will discuss the best option for your needs and will know if you need infusion therapy. Your provider's office will make the arrangements for you, along with a schedule that is convenient for you.

Our infusion therapy nurses are also skilled at starting IVs for infants and children.

Other infusion therapies we provide include:

  • IV antibiotic therapy.
  • Cardiovascular therapy.
  • Outpatient treatment for asthma.
  • Blood disorders.
  • Anticoagulation.
  • Immune deficiency therapy.
  • Cancer treatment therapy.
