Sky Lakes Medical Center is a not-for-profit, stand-alone, community-benefit regional healthcare center serving more than 80,000 people in Klamath and Lake counties in Oregon, and Modoc and Siskiyou counties in California.
It is the only hospital in a 10,000-square-mile area in south-central Oregon and northeastern California. We combine small-town charm and neighborliness with big-city medical expertise in our facility, which is licensed for 176 beds.
In May, 2013, Sky Lakes earned ISO 9001 certification from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) to become one of only a handful of hospitals in Oregon to achieve this honor. ISO 9001 is recognized by business and industry around the world as the benchmark for continual quality improvement. It is recognition of technical excellence that patients and their families can trust.
A 10-member board of directors is our direct connection to our community. Those volunteers set policy direction that is put into action through our senior management team, our president/chief executive officer and four vice presidents.
