Biography
Dr. Smith is west coast born and east coast trained. He is happily married with one child.
His special interests are advanced minimally invasive surgery and modern innovative surgical techniques, advanced GI surgery, endocrine surgery, comprehensive breast surgery, complex hernia repair, skin cancer surgery and soft tissue surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Smith enjoys: drawing, painting, and woodcarving/sculpting; martial arts; playing harmonica, guitar and hand percussion; and fishing, shooting and hunting. Dr. Smith is an Eagle Scout.
MIS fellowship training in Connecticut completed 2011
Surgical residency completed 2010. Three different programs from Connecticut, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, covering over 20 healthcare facilities giving him vast exposure to many techniques and practices.
