Biography

Shar has over 20 years of experience as a physical therapist. She graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (now Anschutz) with a master’s in physical therapy in 2000. She became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars in 2008. She then completed her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 2013. More recently, she became a Certified Canine Rehab Therapist (CCRT) and rehabilitates dogs as well as people! She has worked in all areas of physical therapy care but most of her experience is in outpatient orthopedics and inpatient acute care. She has worked with a wide variety of orthopedic issues and with all age groups. Shar is a Colorado native and grew up in a dry, high desert climate which is very similar to southern Oregon. The climate and similar outdoor activities were what attracted her to this area. In her free time, Shar enjoys CrossFit, the outdoors, traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with her husband and their three pups.
