Biography

Mark is a Family Nurse practitioner who holds a National Board Certification from American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Chico CA in 2000. As a Registered Nurse he worked Emergency Medicine as both a direct care Nurse and Charge Nurse in a 22 bed Emergency Department in Redding CA and a 30 bed Emergency Department in Woodland CA. He also held Clinical management positions with Woodland Health Care, Woodland CA. and Indian Health Services for the Pit River Indian Tribal Clinics in Northern California. Additionally, he worked several years as a worker compensation / case manager for a national retail organization, providing care for 1900 employees in California, Nevada and Oregon. He earned his Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Western University of Health Science, Pomona, Ca in 2010. He has completed internship with several private Family practice and Urgent facilities in Southern California and Northern California. He has worked with private Family medicine practices in Northern California providing Primary care and Urgent care services for the communities in Tehama, Shasta and Modoc counties. He spent the last 3 years working in Klamath Falls, Or. focused on Emergency Medicine. Before becoming a Registered Nurse, he served 4 years in the U. S. Army M. P. Corp and worked 8 years in Law Enforcement in Northern and Central California. He was Born in Redding Ca and raised in Weed, Ca. graduating from Weed High School in 1980.

Mark’s special interests are Urgent Care and Emergency Care.
