New cardiologist joins Sky Lakes Klamath Heart Clinic
Sky Lakes welcomes the newest member of the local medical community: L. Douglas (Doug) Carlson, M.D., F.A.C.C., a board-certified interventional cardiologist.
Dr. Carlson is seeing patients at Sky Lakes Klamath Heart Clinic, 2614 Clover St.
He joins Dr. George Kubac, Dr. Rastislav Kucinski, Dr. Joanna Narkiewicz-Jodko, Sharon Cowie, NP, and Ryan Dutton, PA-C at the clinic.
Dr. Carlson relocated to Klamath Falls from Torrance, Calif., where he practiced invasive, non-invasive, and interventional cardiology for eight years at South Bay Heart. He was in his private cardiology practice also in Torrance for 24 years prior to that.
He is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine.
Dr. Carlson earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University in Missouri, completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a cardiology fellowship at UCLA School of Medicine, Long Beach.
