Q. Why did you choose to live and work in Klamath Falls and how long have you lived here?

A. After going to PA school in Oregon I fell in love with this state and wanted to stay. Klamath appealed to me because of all the outdoor activities that are available along with the opportunity to provide care to a rural population. I have lived in Klamath a little over a month now!

Q. Is Klamath Falls a good place to live, and what about the area makes you feel that way?

A.I have enjoyed living in Klamath so far. It is very pretty, and I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can start biking and hiking again 🙂 I like the smaller town feel (after living in Portland), no traffic, and some amazing food places! Everyone has been very kind and welcoming as well.

Q. What are the pros and cons of living in Klamath Falls?

A. Pros: Beautiful area to live, so much to do with outdoor recreation. It is driving distance to a lot of cool places. The airport isn’t that far away. Small town feel but with everything you need nearby!

Cons: I miss Salt and Straw Ice-cream 🙂

Q. What is your favorite part of living in Klamath Falls?

A. I have an amazing job that I really enjoy, I get to be around my best friend from school who also works here, I know I will enjoy the outdoors once the weather warms up! I haven’t gotten over the beautiful views of the lake and mountains.

Q. How would you describe Klamath Falls to a peer thinking about visiting or moving here?

A. It is a rural town in a beautiful area of Oregon. There are tons of hikes, biking paths, lakes to go kayaking/paddle boarding in, just everything you could want for someone who loves the outdoors. It may not be a big city, but it is in driving distance to Medford and Bend so if you want a weekend out there are cities nearby as well. I’ve really enjoyed my time living here so far and I can’t wait to continue exploring.
