Medical Assistant Program

 

Embark on an exciting journey with our Medical Assistant Training Program! You’ll gain hands-on experience as a full-time employee while mastering the skills needed to excel in a clinical setting.

 

Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll be eligible to apply for a position as a Medical Assistant (MA-C). After completing 2,000 hours, you will be qualified to apply to take your Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam through the National Healthcare Association.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

 

Medical Assistants (MA’s) work in our clinics and provide direct patient care by managing patient flow, rooming, taking vitals and medical history, delivering vaccines, and assisting physicians in basic procedures. The MA is the backbone of a successful clinic and is an excellent place to begin a healthcare career in a primary care or specialty clinic.

Program Requirements

 

  • Apply for a position in the program.
  • Receive certification (CMA or equivalent from one of the following: AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT) within 15 months of hire, (1 year experience + 3 months certification window) CPR certification required by end of month from 60 days of hire and maintained.

 

Eligibility

 

Applicants must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or GED, possess good communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service skills, and pass a background check and drug screen prior to admittance.
