Dr. Snyder is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a deep commitment to child abuse prevention and education. She earned her Medical Degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York and discovered her passion for child abuse medicine during a residency rotation at Klamath-Lake CARES. For over 14 years, Dr. Snyder has served as a child abuse examiner for Klamath and Lake Counties, providing expert care and advocacy for vulnerable children. In 2016, she took on the role of Medical Director at Klamath-Lake CARES, where she expanded her efforts to raise awareness and educate others about child abuse. Dr. Snyder is a dedicated presenter on child maltreatment, regularly sharing her knowledge with community members, multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), and healthcare professionals. She also contributes to the training of resident physicians and medical providers through lectures and hands-on supervision in child abuse medicine.
