Haijara Channa, MD

Biography

Dr. Hajra Channa is a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician. She earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University, completed a three-year internal medicine residency at Louisiana State University, and went on to complete a three-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Channa’s clinical practice spans the full spectrum of pulmonary and critical care medicine, including the diagnosis and management of chronic lung disease, respiratory failure, and complex ICU care. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the Klamath Falls community.

Dr. Channa is dedicated to staying current with advances in pulmonary and critical care medicine to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care.

Dr. Channa has a special interest in quality improvement initiatives, critical care management of complex ICU patients, as well as obstructive lung disease, interstitial lung disease and expanding healthcare access for rural and underserved communities.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Channa enjoys reading, running, biking and rock climbing. She is also a calligraphy artist with a focus on zoomorphic art.
