Biography

Gloria is a bilingual (Spanish-English) speech-language pathologist with a deep commitment to culturally and linguistically responsive care. As the daughter of immigrant parents, she has had firsthand experience with the barriers families face when accessing healthcare, which drives her passion for language access and inclusive therapy. She specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and takes a neuroaffirming approach to supporting patients at their individual level, ensuring therapy is tailored to their strengths and needs.

With experience across hospital, outpatient, school, and early childhood settings, Gloria provides evidence-based speech therapy with an emphasis on empowering patients and families. She is passionate about advocating for better support systems for neurodivergent and bilingual individuals/families within our community. Whether working with children or adults, her goal is to create a safe, effective, and engaging therapy environment where every voice is valued.

Gloria is passionate about language access in healthcare, neuroaffirming therapy, and the role of AAC in communication. She is dedicated to culturally responsive care, early intervention, and empowering families of neurodivergent individuals. She also advocates for inclusive community resources and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes.

When she’s not working, Gloria loves hitting the gym, traveling to new places, and finding any reason to throw a party. Whether she’s lifting heavy, exploring new places, or bringing people together for a good time, she’s all about making the most of every moment.
