Alek Angeli

Biography

Dr. Alek Angeli received his Bachelor’s of Art from Bushnell University in Exercise Physiology and Psychology and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2020. Alek is a Certificatied Vestibular Specialist (CVS) earned from both the University of Austin, TX and Emory University in Atlanta, GA for the treatment of dizziness and balance disorders. He is certified as an ImPACT Concussion Physical Therapist for the treatment of post-concussion syndrome. Alec also is a certified clinical instructor. The majority of his clinical experience has been working in the outpatient clinical setting for patients of all age groups that have specific gait, movement or balance disorders including Parkinson’s Disease, strokes, Multiple Sclerosis, concussions, and vestibular/dizziness disorders. Alek is involved in the APTA Neurological (ANPT) Sections, the (VRSIG) Vestibular Rehabilitation Special Interest Group, and (BFSIG) Balance and Fall Special Interest Group, and he is a member of (VEDA) Vestibular Disorders Association. Alek has written a variety of published articles that are specific to vestibular therapy for patients experiencing dizziness related symptoms. His personal hobbies and lifestyle revolve around outdoor activities like running, rock climbing, traveling, and backpacking.
