Sky Lakes Medical Center recently hosted a Central Line Academy, a hands-on training course designed to enhance provider competency in the safe placement of central lines, arterial lines, and ultrasound-guided IVs.
This course improves patient safety at Sky Lakes by giving providers a refresher on placing central lines to reduce complications like infections and promotes standardization, and boosts confidence and collaboration.
The training our providers received aligns with national accreditation standards and equips providers with critical skills needed in high-acuity settings, reinforcing Sky Lakes Health System’s commitment to clinical excellence and continuous learning.
