“On bike to work day this year we had 31 people bike to work at the Sky Lakes station, and 107 over all 6 locations. At Sky Lakes, we commuted 82.15 miles, and as a community as a whole we did over 300 miles!”

Sky Lakes has found itself home to a family of owls! A family of owls have nested in a tree outside the employee entrance to the hospital. There are two owlets and they have brightened the days and evenings of many Sky Lakes employees.

We want to celebrate the 100th birthdays of two Sky Lakes Volunteers, Muriel and Norma! Muriel and Norma are honorary life members of the Sky Lakes Volunteers. Their combined total hours served with the hospital are more than 19,000 hours!

Sky Lakes Volunteers Awarded United Way Volunteer Award for 2022
Sky Lakes Medical Center Volunteers were awarded United Way’s 2022 Volunteer of the year for the Public Service Division! Recently our volunteers have resumed patient escorts, deliveries to patient rooms, and aiding with discharges after pausing these services due to COVID-19 restrictions.
