Laura Matlock, D.O.

Biography

Dr. Laura Matlock is an experienced OBGYN dedicated to women’s health. Growing up in Richfield, Ohio, she developed a passion for caring for women at all stages of life.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Biomedical Humanities from Hiram College. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Matlock earned her doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Matlock strives to provide compassionate, personalized care to her patients.

Dr. Matlock’s professional interests include high risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and adolescent gynecology.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, hiking, kayaking, reading, and gardening.
