Lisa McCabe, PT

Biography

Lisa McCabe, PT, DPT earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA in 2025. Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in dance from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has been with Sky Lakes since graduating from PT school. Lisa has a Graduate Certificate in Performing Arts Medicine, which is additional training in prevention, assessment, and management of injuries specific to performing artists, including dancers, theatre artists, musicians, figure skaters, and gymnasts. She has experience in inpatient and outpatient neurological rehab, outpatient orthopedics, and outpatient performing arts. Her special interests for physical therapy include working with performing artists, patients with hypermobility, and patients with neurological conditions. She also is a Level 1 STOTT Pilates Mat + Reformer Certified Instructor. In her free time, she enjoys teaching dance, running, biking, hiking, reading, Pilates, and calling with family and friends.
