Technology to heal. When it comes to radiation therapy for cancer, less is, quite frankly, more. Specifically, less radiation to healthy tissues and more to unwanted cancer cells is a much, much better way to go.
In addition to other improvements, our Elekta Infinity radiation treatment unit has the ability to perform a CT scan on our patients before their radiation. This allows CTC staff to know exactly where the cancerous tumors are in 4D. Sophisticated software also helps the oncology providers to account for respiratory motion when needed.
We are here to make your experience with the Cancer Treatment Center as comfortable as possible.
