Living Well Community Health Fair
An assortment of free health screenings are among the highlights of the annual free community health fair.
The 20th edition of Sky Lakes Medical Center’s Living Well Community Health Fair begins at 8 a.m. in Exhibit Hall 1 at the Klamath County Fairgrounds and runs until 2 p.m. Admission is free.
The annual health fair is a chance to get valuable information about your health as well as to learn about some of the many services at Sky Lakes and in the community. There also will be a variety of fun activities for adults and children.
The free health fair screenings include:
- Cholesterol (LDL and HDL);
- Blood glucose; and
- Lung function.
Fasting for 8-12 hours is recommended for the cholesterol and blood glucose screenings. Physicians from Sky Lakes clinics will be on hand at the health fair to interpret results at no charge.
There also will be free body mass index readings and blood pressure checks, displays by Sky Lakes departments and community partners, and activities and information specifically for children ages 3-13.
