Body Acceptance Fundamentals of Fitness
Who: Those coming to classes for the first time, looking for a solid foundation or to improve on the basics.
What to expect: The fundamental movements are push, pull, squat and hinge. Each week, we will focus on one of the movements and through fun and challenging skills and drills, we will teach you to move efficiently and safely. The pace is slow and deliberate allowing for plenty of adjustment and alteration for all ability levels.
Why you should take this class: Before we can move heavy weights, or move quickly or repetitively, we must move well. There are two pieces to this action:
First, moving well as a habit has to be established correctly, which requires feedback.
Second, your habit needs to be maintained through regular check-ins. For this reason, whether you are someone that has attended classes for years or has never worked out before, you will gain a lot from this class.
