Please join us in congratulating Laura Cobian, RN, as our August Employee of the Month. Laura was born and raised in the basin and has been a nurse locally for 10 years and has been a valued member of the Sky Lakes Emergency Department for a year and a half. This is what the Emergency Department Team had to share about Laura:
“Laura has complete ED awareness, jumping in to help her colleagues at a moment’s notice, without any prompting. She is cheerful and kind, creating a supportive culture for everyone. Laura is always willing and able translate for our Spanish-speaking families as well. I also appreciate her skills in preceptorship and informal leadership.”
Laura “always goes above and beyond. Very nice to staff and patients. Does not ever complain. Is a very good preceptor and works even when she has a preceptee. Joy to be around.”
“She is a joy to work with. She is always so nice and willing to help. She never complains about her assignment or where she is needed in the ER. She shows up and does the very best she can for the full 12 hours.”
