| Patients and Visitors - For Visitors |
Visiting HoursWe understand that visitors are important to the healing process and we encourage family and friends to visit. Standard visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., but may be modified by the care team to meet the needs of the patient.
Visiting hours in the Family Birth Center are individualized according to the patient’s needs and wishes. Visitors may enter the birth center directly between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. and through the Emergency Department during other hours.
In the Critical Care Unit (CCU), families are welcomed any time except 5:30 - 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., the times when we do our regular reports. Because of the nature of the care delivered on the unit, visitors to CCU are asked to use the special telephone in the visitor’s room before entering the unit.
Visitation Safety Guidelines
A responsible adult must supervise visiting children at all times. No animals are permitted on the nursing units, with the exception of seeing-eye dogs.
