The hospital itself is entirely new, having opened this year. Sky Lakes is a community-based non-profit facility. The facility runs in the black with a margin this year of approximately 4%, so is fiscally sound and stable.
Klamath Falls itself is located in alpine desert and has mild weather (by mid-western standards) all year. The community is easily navigable and most of us have brief commutes. To travel farther afield, commuter flights go up to the Portland hub several times per day. We also have an Amtrak station if train travel suits you.
Recreational activities abound in the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, rock climing, white water rafting, etc., are all easily available and frequent hobbies of the doctors here.
Klamath Lake itself is a wonderful lake for sailing and offers rainbow trout that average 2-3#.

Sky Lakes Medical Center was the first medical center on the West Coast to enable physicians using commonly available digital devices to get up-to-date patient information.
But tools are just so much hardware without qualified physicians and trained specialists. That's why Sky Lakes Medical Center works hard to recruit and retain the best and brightest. Sky Lakes Medical Center has several employment / agreement options to make this position financially prosperous. We have a Physician Practice Management division in our corporation to provide the needed assistance in practice management and staffing.
