Doctor Accredited in Sleep Medicine

A Klamath Falls doctor has received his certification in sleep medicine.  Dr. David Panossian, with Klamath Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, received his sleep medicine accreditation from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Certification is awarded to specialists “who demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for excellent patient care,” according to a news release.  ABIM created the certification process, which includes a diagnostic exam, to ensure specialists in the field have received the highest level of training in specific patient issues.
