Diabetes Services offers education in a one-on-one or group education (class) setting.  Topics of education may include:

• Blood Glucose Monitoring
• Exercise
• Meal Planning
• Medications, including insulin
• Preventing/Managing Complications
• Foot Care
• Dental Care

Classes are given in a series of 4 sessions, with each class being 2 hours.  Please contact us for a current class schedule.

One-on-one appointments are customized to the participant.  We help people newly diagnosed with diabetes gain the skills they need to manage their disease successfully.  These education sessions can also keep you up to date on current research and management strategies, or help you through the changes in the treatment of your disease.
